Congratulations to Dave Fellows and Andrew Kittle on back to back wins in the car section and to Ben Grabham's three-in-a-row in the bikes.  Work now begins on next year - see you all back here in Alice Springs from 11 to 14 June 2010.

 

2010 Entry Forms - Bike Entry Forms Delayed

Bike and quad entry forms for the 2010 Tattersall's Finke Desert Race have been delayed and are now expected to be available online under "Forms" on Monday 22 February 2010.  We apologise for the extended wait.

Car and buggy entry forms will also be available Monday 22 February 2010.

2010 Grid Girl Search Now On!

The search for six lovely ladies to be the 2010 Tattersall's Finke Desert Race Grid Girls is now on.  To read the guidelines and print off an application form, click on the "Forms" tab in the left hand menu.

 

2009 Official DVD - THEY'VE ARRIVED!!

The DVD has been sent to all competitors and volunteers  (dropped at the Post Office Monday 14 December 2009).  They were also Express Posted to anyone who ordered the DVD before Friday 11 December 2009.

Due to the busy Christmas period, the post office said it can take 5 to 10 working days for parcels to reach people.  Hopefully they don't take too long to get to you.

The committee would like to thank everyone for their patience waiting for the DVD.

 

2009 Finke Desert Race Annual General Meeting

This year's AGM  was held on Wednesday 11th November.  The Executive committee positions were up for nomination with Antony Yoffa, Damien Ryan, Kelsey Rodda and Brooke Fraser all successfully re-nominating and Chris Coulthard joining as a general committee member.

You are still able to become a member of Finke Desert Race Incorporated by completing the membership form and sending it into the office with $15 payment.  The membership form can be found in the "Forms" section of this website.

   

Fuel Cans from Fuel Stop 2

If you had a fuel can at club fuel stop 2 they have been emptied and are being stored securely at the Start/Finish Line here in Alice Springs.  We are able to organise for collection of the cans from there and they will be available for interstaters to pick up if they return for the race in 2010.  If you are requiring them to be transported back to you interstate - you will need to arrange transport yourself.  For more information or if you have any questions, please feel free to email us.
