Do you want to be a Finke grid girl?

So you’ve been looking through the galleries on the Grid Girl page of the Finke website and the Grid Girls Facebook page thinking “I could do that, looks like fun”, well you could totally do it and it is a heaps of fun!



In 2012 the Finke Desert Race Grid Girls will be adding their touch of glitz and glamour to the event for the tenth year and were looking for ten girls to do it!  The process is easy!  All you need to do is download an application form when applications open on Thursday 1 December 2011, fill it in and send in two photos of yourself (headshot and full body shot) before applications close on Friday 24 February and you’re in the running!

If you’re thinking to yourself “I suck at taking photos!” or you want to look your best in one and are panicking about how to do it – don’t worry!  We’re here to help.  The Grid Girl organisers will be holding two ‘Application Open Days’ for girls wanting to apply to have their application photos taken for them, with Aimee from Alice’s newest at home salon You Beauty and Alice’s best make-up artist Jodi Farrell there to touch up your make-up and have you looking your best!  The ‘Application Open Days’ will be on Saturday 28 January and Saturday 11 February 2012.
