Clubs and Associations

Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS)

CAMS exists to promote, encourage, and advance motor sport in Australia through competition, ensuring that the sport is competitive and fair and is run in accordance with the spirit of the traditions of true competitive sport.

CAMS is responsible for all forms of four-wheeled motor sport which includes categories such as circuit racing, rallying, off roading, historic competition and other general motor sport activities (including motorkhana, speed, hillclimb, autocross and khanacross events).

Motorcycling Australia

Motorcycling Australia (MA) is the governing body of motorcycle sport in Australia.

Alice Springs Motorcycle Club

In the 1980s and 90s the club has produced nationally recognised Finke Desert Race riders Mark Winter, Randal Gregory, Stephen Greenfield and 1998 Australian 125cc Motocross champion Craig Carmichael. Stephen Greenfield also won outright the 1999 Australian Safari.

The club plays host to regular motocross, enduro, natural terrain and flat track events each year for both junior and senior competitors.

Darwin Motorcycle Club

DMCC is the oldest motor sports club in Darwin, going back to the 1940's. DMCC has grown stronger then ever, over time with commitment from parents and riders, DMCC is the club it is today, vibrant and energetic and getting bigger and better every year.
